Automotive Service and Repair

     Dale's Garage was originally founded in Niles, Michigan by Dale Price Sr. in 1972. Dale's experience in the Automotive Industry had begun when he was a teenager, working at his father's service station in Kalamazoo, MI.

     In 1993, Mark Price, Dale's eldest son, bought the business from his father, successfully operating it until 1997, when he then chose to close its doors and again go to work for his father at the Marathon Station owned and operated by Dale in Buchanan, Michigan. 

     Eventually parting ways again, Mark entered into the trucking industry, as a mechanic, and a driver. Mark then started his own trucking company that he still owns and operates today.

     Dale chose to sell the marathon Station. And returning to his roots as a mechanic, he opened Newman's Automotive in Buchanan. Dale owned and operated Newman's Automotive for nearly 30 years until his passing in September of 2024.

     To honor Dale's numerous decades of work in the automotive Industry, Newman's Automotive was dissolved, and on October 1, 2024, what was formerly known as Newman's, became Dale's Garage, the business he had owned and operated many years before.

     It is the mission of Dale's Garage to carry on Dale Price Sr.'s legacy of integrity and honesty in serving our customer's needs. Under the ownership of Mark Price, who himself was taking carburetors apart at six-years-old, Dale's Garage strives for excellence with every job and seeks to offer our customers the old-school experience to automotive service that he grew up in.

     Dale's Garage is a licensed Automotive Repair Facility, employing Licensed Master Technicians. We are a full Automotive Service & Repair Facility, capable of completing virtually any job, excepting Body & Paint work, or Alignments.
